Now he has given her an ultimatum: seduce a suitable gentleman and bear a son. Caroline would never think of bowing to such a shameful order, but then she meets Jack Applegate.

Jack has longed for the beautiful, untouchable Caroline for years, but the chasm between them was too wide to ever dream of crossing. Now, fate and passion have thrown them together, but the potential scandal threatens to smother their love. And when a violent secret comes to light, only a terrible sacrifice will prevent the flame of their affection from being snuffed out forever. .

Katy Madison has written a beautiful story that teaches a woman how to feel passion and how to feel loved.

As the title suggests it is all about seduction. I loved how Katy set the story in England during the time of Queen Victoria. The setting of the Mill was a great way to the different class during that period and I found it really helped to distinguish the differences in the characters by the way they spoke and by the way they lived and worked.

My favourite character was Caroline because I found her to be the most intriguing person because I found her to be different from those around her. I got a sense of her wanting society to be seen as equals. She wanted to make so many changes to her husband’s mill to keep the children safe and to help them get an education while her husband didn’t like the changes she was making, he didn’t think she was capable of running his Mill.

My favourite part of the book was the developing relationship between Caroline and the injured Mill worker Jack Applegate. I loved how they both wanted each other but at the same time they didn’t feel worthy of the other. Throughout the book they tried to avoid each other but love prevailed in the end.

I found this book to be delicate and seducing as well as highly moving. This book is well worth reading.

For this book I rate it 5/5

Rising Storm

In 2015, Australia became a Republic, and elected its first female President. Four years later, Australia is attempting to establish a peacekeeping treaty with the Kingdom of Rajikstan, a war-torn middle-eastern country who has been sharing its nuclear power and military power with the Republic of Australia. But with the peace talks set in motion, a national security threat is brought to the President's attention. The Australian Anti-Terrorism Organisation informs her that the terrorist group known as the Al-Tareq, has stolen a shipment of weapons grade nuclear material on its way from Rajikstan to be used in the nation's newly constructed nuclear power plant. She is told that the terrorists are attempting to build a nuclear bomb using the stolen materials and abducting a key nuclear physicist. The President enlists the Australian Anti-Terrorism Organisation to find the terrorists before they can build the nuclear device. However, after an undercover operation goes wrong, the Al-Tareq terrorists manage to construct the device

Review of Midnight's Wild Passion - Anna Campbell

London’s most notorious seducer, Nicholas Challoner lives solely for revenge...

The  dashing, licentious Marquess of Ranelaw can never forgive Godfrey Demarest for ruining his sister – now the time has come to repay the villain in the same coin. But one formidably intriguing impediment stands in the way of Nicholas’s vengeance: Miss Antonia Smith, companion to his foe’s unsuspecting daughter.

Having herself been deceived and disgraced by a rouge-banished by her privileged family as a result and forced to live a lie-Antonia vows to protect her charge from the same cruel fate. She recognises Ranelaw for the shameless blackguard he is and will devote every ounce of her intelligence and resolve to thwarting him.

Yet Antonia has always had a fatal weakness for rakes...

WOW!, this book was so amazing. The story was so thrilling. I have never read anything so romantic before. I loved every bit of the story. The characters were so intriguing. I loved Antonia and her secret, it made me want to know more about her like Nicholas  wanted to know more about her.

Reading this book got my heart racing, as well as my mind. As i continued to read I could see clearly what was happening, i could picture the scenery and the smells as they were described so well. All the descriptions throughout the book were so sexual and so beautiful.

There were so many good parts to this book. Without giving too much away the main stand out part for me is the relationship between Nicholas and Antonia. It really got me wanting more of the story plus it made me want to know why all the secrets existed and what the truth was behind those secrets.

I felt so in touch with Antonia. I could feel everything she felt and I really felt for her. The ending of the book was so beautiful, an ending I didn’t expect. It blew me away with tears of happiness.

I rate this book highly 5/5
